The location, though convenient for access to public transport, can feel concerning due to the presence of homeless individuals in the vicinity. I was quite disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The room I was given was filthy, so much so that I had to leave immediately after checking in. On top of that, the noise levels were unbearable. However, the room itself was surprisingly spacious and cheaper than the price listed in the hotel lobby. The bathroom was sizable, and I appreciated having a balcony.

I must admit that the service at this hotel was a redeeming factor amidst all the disappointments. From the doorman to the receptionist and dining staff, everyone was very friendly and helpful. Their willingness to assist was noticeable, even though only Portuguese was spoken.

The hotel's location in the old city center of Sao Paulo is not ideal due to the surrounding environment. The area gets a bit scary with the amount of homeless and drug addicts nearby. Although it's near Plaza República and the bus terminus, the location has seen better days, especially when it comes to safety.
